Residential visits

In April, 14 Year 9 and 10 students went to Avon Tyrell activity centre in the new Forest, and spent 4 nights there. They took part in a range of activities including the zip wire across a lake, tree climbing, canoeing, archery, mountain biking and a campfire and night walk. They had an amazing time.

In the first week of June, Post 16 students spent the week at Freshwater Caravan Park in Burton Bradstock, on the wonderful Jurassic Coast in Dorset. They had a fantastic time, with visits to Bridport and Weymouth, and a nightly disco and entertainment.

On 15th June, Class 6 will be going to Leeson House, a Dorset based activity centre, for an overnight stay.

Residential visits are an amazing opportunity for our pupils, and we owe a big thank you to the staff who give up their time to take them away.
