Guess what?

We WON!! Yewstock School was shortlisted for Pride Group of the Year award with charity, Just Like Us. We took the minibus to London and arrived at a very posh event on Embankment. There were canopies and drinks, lots of YouTubers and influencers and around 300 people. When our name was announced, the students couldn’t believe it! We all jumped up on the stage and gave speeches. Mrs Naomi Culley talked about how important it was to have the group for self-discovery. Our school captain also gave an amazing speech and congratulated the other schools which was a kind gesture. A big thank you to Mrs Culley for running the Rainbow Alliance, it has been a hugely popular and much needed group for Yewstock School. Thank you also to our school community who have been so supportive – this award is for all of us!
