Magnificent Mill

Dear Parents and Friends

This Sunday afternoon Magnificent Mill is taking place in Sturminster Newton! We at Emerald Ant are very much looking forward to seeing you at the Mill between 1 and 4pm.

There will be a musical performance by Ensemble Bash at 1.30 and you will enjoy a wonderful, unusual art trail of creations by children at William Barnes and Yewstock Schools, this has been created with artists Sarah Butterworth, Kim Sibley and Carrie Mason. The work is larger than life and inspired by the Mill and River Stour.

We look forward to seeing you there. Please note the car park will be closed. We suggest you follow the road down from town and walk along the main river bank to get the full view of the beautifully-adorned mill.  An information sheet will be available as you cross the footbridge.

We would like to thank the volunteers at the mill who have tirelessly supported this project, as well as our funders Dorset Performing Arts Fund, Dorset Council, Arts Council England and the Southwest Museums Development Fund

Yours
