Dorset Parent-Carer Council & Parent Carers Together invite you to a FREE workshop focusing on Preparing for Adulthood:

We have a few places left on the attached Preparing for Adulthood event.

The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Carol Robinson from the national Preparing for Adulthood team who are funded by the Department for Education.

The workshop will help you to think about how to support your young person to have a good life once they reach adulthood.
The day will look at the following:
o Routes into employment/occupation
o Independent living/housing
o Friends, relationships and community inclusion
o Achieving good health.
There will be an opportunity to think about outcomes: how they are used to in Plans when we are thinking about how to achieve good life outcomes.
